Who we are

Primebuild Construction Limited (“Primebuild”, “we”, “us”) is a construction company registered in Kenya, with offices at Wood Avenue, Kilimani, P.O. Box 5051-00100, Nairobi, Kenya. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website.

This policy is written with reference to the Data Protection Act, 2019 of Kenya and the regulations made under it.

What we collect

We collect only what you choose to send us. Specifically:

• Enquiry and quote forms: your name, phone number and email address (required), and optionally the project type, budget range, project location and any description of the project you provide.
• Careers applications: your name, phone number, email address, trade or discipline, and the experience details you enter.
• Newsletter signups: your email address.
• Technical data submitted with a form: your IP address and browser user-agent string. These are recorded with the submission for security purposes - specifically, to detect and limit automated abuse of the forms.

We do not ask for, and you should not send, national ID numbers, KRA PINs, bank details or any other sensitive personal data through this website.

Why we use it

• To respond to your enquiry and prepare a quotation.
• To consider your application if you apply for work with us.
• To send you our newsletter, if you asked for it.
• To protect the website from automated abuse and to keep a record that an enquiry was received.

Our lawful basis is your consent, given when you submit a form, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services and in securing our systems.

How it is stored

Submissions are recorded on the server that hosts this website and are sent by email to Primebuild’s office. Where a database is configured, a copy is also stored there. Access is limited to Primebuild staff who need it to respond to you.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing. Your data may be handled by:

• our hosting provider, which operates the server this website runs on;
• our email provider, which delivers the notification of your enquiry to our office;
• a professional adviser or an authority, where we are required to disclose it by law.

Cookies and analytics

This website sets no advertising or tracking cookies of its own. It does not embed third-party maps, video players, chat widgets or social media components, each of which would otherwise set cookies before you interacted with them.

Where Primebuild has enabled Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4, those services set cookies to measure how the website is used and to attribute enquiries to advertising campaigns. If no measurement ID is configured, no analytics script is loaded at all. You can block cookies in your browser settings without losing access to any part of this website.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to respond to them and to maintain a record of work quoted or carried out. Careers applications are kept while your application is under consideration. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

Under the Data Protection Act, 2019 you have the right to:

• be informed of the use to which your personal data is put;
• access the personal data we hold about you;
• object to the processing of all or part of your personal data;
• have inaccurate or misleading data corrected;
• have your personal data deleted, where there is no longer a lawful reason to keep it.

To exercise any of these rights, email info@primebuild.co.ke or call +254 705 555 760. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner of Kenya.

Security

This website is served over HTTPS, sets a strict Content Security Policy, and validates every form submission on the server. No technical measure is perfect, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information you send us.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the revised version will be published on this page with a new “last updated” date.
