Water Infrastructure

Storage, distribution and sanitation works, backed by registration with the Ministry of Water & Sanitation.

Overview

About Water Infrastructure

Primebuild Construction Limited holds registration with the Ministry of Water & Sanitation in addition to its National Construction Authority registration. That second registration is not a general contractor's credential - it is specific to water and sanitation work, and it is a prerequisite for a great deal of publicly funded water infrastructure in Kenya.

The firm's completed work includes a sectional steel water storage tank erected on reinforced concrete plinths with a steel roof structure and stone-pitched drainage - the kind of scheme that combines civil, structural and mechanical scope in a single package.

Water schemes are unforgiving about workmanship: a tank that leaks or a channel that ponds is a defect that reveals itself immediately and publicly. Directly employed, DIT-certified trades and Primebuild's own supervision are the practical answer to that.

Why Primebuild

What you get with Water Infrastructure

Ministry of Water & Sanitation registered

A registration specific to water and sanitation work, held alongside NCA registration - and stated explicitly in the company profile.

Civil, structural and mechanical in one package

Foundations, tank erection, roof structure and surrounding drainage delivered by one contractor rather than three interfaces.

Built for the communities served

Respect for the communities and environments worked in is one of the firm's six stated core values, and water schemes are where that is most visible.

Nationwide reach

Projects are delivered across Kenya, which matters for schemes far from Nairobi.

Our process

How the work runs

The same sequence on every project, whatever its size.

  1. Scheme appraisal

Site, demand, levels and access reviewed against what the scheme has to deliver.

  2. Foundations and civils

Reinforced concrete plinths, bases and surrounding drainage set out and cast.

  3. Storage and distribution

Tank erection, pipework and associated structures installed and supported.

  4. Testing and commissioning

Pressure and leak testing, proving of the installation, and demonstration to the client.

  5. Handover

As-built information, operating guidance and handover to the operator.
